Gombulator - Fine Cut Bodies




Product Description

Gombulator is a free Kontakt instrument based on a rare portable synth from the early '80s. The Yamaha PSR-15 has six preset sounds plus a set of drums, all of which were meticulously sampled before arranging them into the twisted interface of Gombulator.

The instrument has been heavily used on Hungarian Synth Pop duo, The Gomb's album released on Chi-Recordings.

Important Notes:

  • The FULL Version of Kontakt 5.6.1+ is required in order to use this instrument.
  • You will be stuck in DEMO MODE if trying to use this instrument in the FREE Kontakt Player.


Loading the Instrument into Kontakt:

1. Either load Kontakt in stand-alone mode or load an instance of Kontakt into your favorite DAW, open the “Browser” on the left (folder icon at the top).

2. Navigate to the location of the 'Gombulator’ folder.

3. Click to open and view the contents of the ‘Gombulator’ folder.

4. Now double-click the ‘Gombulator.nki’ file or drag it onto the main Kontakt window to load the instrument.
