The FreqTube FT1-EMU is a hybrid tube saturation and harmonics plugin developed by Freqport.

It delivers circuit-accurate, component-level analog modeling inside your DAW, while offering seamless, one-click switching to real physical vacuum tubes if you connect the FreqTube FT1 hardware unit.

• SPICE Modeling: Built using component-level SPICE circuit simulations of original hardware schematics to replicate authentic nonlinear valve physics. 
• Quad-Tube Engine: Digitally models two E83CC tubes for aggressive, forward saturation and two 12AT7 tubes for soft, buttery harmonics. 
• Dual Filter Sections: Features analog-inspired multi-mode primary and parallel filters (HPF, LPF, Peak, BP) with 12/24 dB slopes for precise tone sculpting. 
• Advanced Saturation Control: Direct manipulation of drive parameters, +18 dB boost, odd/even harmonic blending, phase inversion, and clipping behavior. 
• Digital Advantages: Supports unlimited instances (limited only by CPU), automatic gain compensation, full DAW parameter automation, and instant preset recall. 
  
  
  
  The Hybrid Workflow
  The defining characteristic of the FT1-EMU platform is its interplay with the physical FreqTube FT1 hardware via Freqport's background software layer, Analog Hub. 
  • One-Click Hot Swap: Clicking a single button inside the plugin interface reroutes the digital audio track smoothly over USB through four physical analog tubes.
  • Unified Interface: The same UI, presets, and automation structures control both the digital emulation and the physical hardware parameters.
  • High-Res Streaming: When hardware is engaged, bit-perfect audio streams between the DAW and the unit at 192kHz sample rates with ultra-low latency.
  • Mobile Freedom: Producers can mix "in-the-box" on a laptop while traveling using the software emulation, then tap into real hardware processing back in the studio without losing any adjustments.
