Correlometer is a free analogue-style stereo multi-band correlation meter AudioUnit, AAX and VST plugin for professional sound and music production applications. It is based on a correlation meter found in the PHA-979 phase-alignment plugin.
The multi-band correlation meter is an advanced way to check for the presence of out-of-phase elements in the mix. Broadband correlation metering reports overall phase issues and may misrepresent problems present in select spectral bands, while multi-band correlation meter easily highlights problems present in mid to high frequencies that are not easily heard by the ear, but may still reduce the clarity of the mix. Another application of multi-band correlation metering is phase-and time-aligning of channels and tracks, especially bass and bass-drum pairs, guitar mic and D.I. source pairs, two-microphone stereo recordings, etc.
Correlometer can display 4 to 64 individual spectral bands, with an adjustable band quality factor that controls the degree of the band’s selectivity. Averaging time of correlation estimator can be adjusted. Correlometer supports side-chain inputs for easy correlation estimation between separate audio tracks.

System Requirements
- This audio plugin can be loaded into any audio host application that conforms to the AudioUnit or VST plugin specification. Plugins with the AAX version available can be loaded in ProTools 12+.
- This plugin is compatible with Windows (32- and 64-bit Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and later versions) and macOS (10.11 and later versions, 64-bit Intel processor-based) computers (2.5 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 4 GB of system RAM, SSE4.2 instructions support required, e.g. any Intel Core i-, AMD Bulldozer- or Zen-based processor). A separate binary distribution file is available for each target computer platform and audio plugin specification. If supported on a specific processor, the plugin may internally utilize AVX2-optimized code.
- Apple M1 native and Big Sur are supported.
- Compatible Windows and macOS plugin software: Cubase, Logic Pro, ProTools, Ableton Live, Reaper, Presonus Studio One, FL Studio, Cakewalk, Nuendo, WaveLab, GarageBand, Vegas, SoundForge, Audition, Samplitude, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Bitwig Studio, Edius, others.
- If you cannot get the plugin to work on macOS High Sierra/Mojave, you have to logout from the system and login again - it's a known issue not caused by the plugin's own bug.

For VST plug-ins on the Windows platform:
You should unpack ZIP file you have downloaded into the "VstPlugins" folder, the one which is connected with the audio application you are using and where this application expects VST plug-ins to reside (it is also suggested to create the "Voxengo" or "Voxengo64" for 64-bit plug-ins sub-folder there, and unpack the archive there instead of the main "VstPlugins" folder).
For VST/AudioUnit plug-ins on Mac OS X platform:
You should open the DMG disk image (which you already did since you are reading this file) and drag & drop the "component" (or "vst") package from it into the corresponding plug-in folder located in the "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/" folder on the harddisk (the "component" package should go to the "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/" folder while the "vst" package should go to the "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/" folder). Note that a direct link to this folder is present in the DMG archive. After this has been done you will need to order your audio application to rescan plug-ins, or if that option is unavailable you will need to re-start this application. Note that plug-ins cannot work without an audio application that hosts/loads them.
